Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Jeffery Bressman is a highly skilled, caring oral surgeon who has received many patient care awards. He was born and raised in Glenview, Illinois. He is a Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who received his undergraduate degree with honors in Biology from the University of Illinois and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree with high honors from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1981. He did his residency at the University of Illinois and affiliated hospitals in Chicago. He has been in private practice since 1985. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesia and belongs to a number of organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Academy of Osseointegration, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Jeffery Bressman is a Senior Attending Surgeon in the Department of Surgery, North Shore University Health System. This multi-hospital health care system includes Evanston Hospital, Skokie Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, and Highland Park Hospital. In addition to this he is a Senior Clinician Educator at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
He has devoted his professional career to all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery practice with special interests in office based treatment including dental implants, oral pathology and removal of wisdom teeth. To keep abreast of the latest developments in Oral Surgery, he has always exceeded the continuing education requirements of Illinois
